Awesome trip

Chapter 1
Travelling to Greymouth
My family and I were getting ready going to Greymouth. It took us 1 day to pack all of our stuff. While we were packing Jake and I brought our soft toys so we could rest on them in the car. The car that my family drove in was our, orange Toyota Yaris, called Bugsy. Jake and I were really sleepy on the ride to Greymouth so we had a rest in the car. It was a really long ride to a motel. Mum and dad carried us up to our room because Jake and I wouldn't wake up.
Chapter 2
Gold rush
Next day we were getting ready to go back home but first we had a big breakfast at a beautiful cafe. Then we stopped in shainty town We got some people to show us around the town. After that we got given some gold flakes in a testing tube. It smelt like moonshine from the old days. Before we went we said thanks to the people who showed us around. Then we started heading to a big attraction called Punakaiai rocks.
Chapter 3
The blow holes
The Punakaiai Rocks, that were hidden on the West Coast, were a beautiful site from where I was. There was a rock as big as my house. It looked from the distance I could see. After that we went to the Blow Holes. Jake and I got into our togs and took off taking turns to go on a small blow hole. I got hurt from doing it heaps so we stopped going on the blow holes. I didn't like the blow holes after that. It seemed cool when water came out of the blow holes and sprayed us. We packed up and started descenting back down to Rolleston.
Chapter 4
Reefton
Our mum put on an album called Def Leopard during the ride down. Dad asked if we wanted to stop at Reefton, "we said yes please"! So we did. When we got there Jake and I said can we have some food. Dad asked if we would like a lolly. Jake said no but when I said yes dad was astonished with what I said.

My autobiography

hi my name is Harley Kulleinn Blaike Gardner. I was born on November 30th 2001. I was early born if I wasn't an early born baby my birthday would be on Christmas day. If I was a Christmas baby I would have my presents on the same day. I grew up in two kindies in Christchurch. My first friend ever was a boy called Cody then it was my friend Scott. Me and Cody aren't friends anymore. But Scott is my best friend. After 7 years still we are still friends.My other friends are Eru, Tamati , Sam , Kalani , Logan , Jesse ,Whetu , Noah , DD and Reese. My cats names are Titus and Ester.My Mum's name is Lea and my Dad's name is Ray.

Kiwiana photo and explanation

In term 1 Ruma Whitu did some kiwiana calendars. They got to choose any month they liked.The kiwi icons that I used were the southern cross and the hoiho. I choose these because the hoiho such as the yellow eyed penguin is only founding New Zealand and the southern cross because it's is part of new Zealand.
